When To Drink
Perfect wine to drink immediately, but can evolve well if left to rest in the cellar.
Tasting Notes
Intense yellow, notes of wheat, peat and barley, typical hints of Vernaccia. In the mouth it is powerful, almost tannic in some ways, with an overbearing and robust finish.
Vinification and Refinement
The grapes are destemmed and macerated for 20 hours before pressing. Spontaneous fermentation and vinification in steel. Aging, without filtration, for 6 months after the must has been in contact with the lees for 12 months.
Vineyard
We are close to the famous San Gimignano, the surrounding countryside. Historical vineyard from 1966 with sandy soils rich in fossils.
